Vordel, a provider of Cloud and SOA governance products, on Monday announced a record increase in annual revenues and net income for 2009 with overall revenues up almost 80% on the previous year. Vordel added an additional 32 enterprise customers to its global user base validating Vordel’s position as the premier provider of SOA and Cloud Governance products. The company also scored major contract wins against IBM Datapower and other companies in the Federal, Telecoms, Banking and Insurance sectors across all major trading zones in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
In 2009, Vordel consolidated its position as the premier provider of high performance, enterprise-level hardware and software products enabling enterprises to confidently deploy SOA and Cloud-linked applications. Widely recognized as delivering the fastest and most powerful SOA appliance on the market today, the company also announced the Vordel Cloud Service Broker offering a migratory path for large enterprises seeking to leverage Cloud computing in a secure and controlled manner. The Vordel Cloud Service Broker beta program is now open to members.
Vic Morris, Vordel, CEO said “Vordel’s record sales growth across all markets and improved profits figures in 2009 demonstrate excellent execution across the company. This momentum has been carried into 2010 and Vordel is currently hiring to expand its in-market operations in the USA and EMEA to service its existing and new customer relationships. Vordel is also extending its strategic partner program to complement the company’s Cloud strategy and further strengthen its sales distribution channels.”
In addition to this expansion of global operations, in 2010 Vordel will release Vordel 6, the next generation of its SOA and Cloud product suite. The firm will also unveil its new Vordel Cloud Service Broker product and announce several strategic partner solutions.

New customer wins included Dept. of Homeland Security, US Dept. of Justice, FAA, ASR Nederland, BNP Paribas Fortis Bank, 3, Barclays Bank, Caisse des Depots and many others.
Vordel continues to set the direction for the enterprise use of Web Services, with the announcement of Vordel Cloud Service Broker to aggregate and manage multi-domain services. The Vordel Cloud Service Broker will create a trusted environment for enterprises to leverage the benefits of Cloud Computing.
Vordel In Partnership Channel Partner Program Grows
Vordel has added strategic distribution partners in several key regions to further consolidate its position as the best-of-breed provider of Cloud and SOA management products. New partners include Niksoft, Reply and Telindus.
